The Library is the hub of the community, and sustains itself through excellent customer service, careful stewardship of financial and physical resources, and attention to evolving needs of the community.

The Auburn Public Library is dedicated to the promotion of lifelong learning, personal and professional enrichment, and a love of reading. The Board of Trustees and Library staff strives to ensure free, equal, and confidential access to all collections and informational services, to maintain the Library building, and to anticipate and prepare for future library service needs in the Auburn Community.
