captives of king Philip's war. Learn about the captives of King Philip's War and why they refused to be ransomed - It's all a matter of underwear. Sari Bitticks from the Auburn Historical Society & Museum will talk about the women and children who were captured during the conflict as well as whose lives were vastly improved by the experience.

teen beading workshop. Bead Therapy is an expressive arts workshop that teaches participants the basics of beaded jewelry making and the difference between semi-precious stones and precious stones. The materials used are semi-precious stones and other natural jewelry materials. Semi-precious stones have been appreciated for generations for their unique beauty and healing and grounding properties.

Learn how to navigate the Ancestry platform as well as in-depth tips and tricks for effective genealogical research! 
Whether you're a beginner or further along in your family history research, this session will equip you with getting the most out of Ancestry's many uses and abilities.

Kids will pick up the assigned book ahead of time and read it before we meet.
